In depth
Verdict
Imps Way can take the Hunters' event with Milesian King and Itzacliche rated as alternatives. The teenager has been struggling to get his head infront between the flags but she needs rattling fast ground to be at her best and Mark Walford seems to be an inspired booking this afternoon. Milesian King won readily at Exeter at the beginning of the month. Few got into that race on balance and this is a much better contest on paper. Itzacliche was an emphatic winner at the course in April. The form of that race received a significant boost as third placed Mister Friday went on to run a stormer at the Cheltenham Foxhunters meet. Rust En Verde attempts reinvention as a hunter having failed as a hurdler under rules. Imperial Dream comes very much into the dour stayer category. Vic's Last Chance hasn't shown much under rules but has a quality jockey booked. The market should offer plenty of clues and Imp's Way is the pick.
