GINGER GREY has improved in all three starts over hurdles and scored nicely at Catterick in December. There should be more to come on his handicap debut and he gets the speculative vote in an open race. Pampelonne has been threatening to open his account and went close again when runner-up at Huntingdon last time, while Taunton winner Monarch's Way made another bold bid at Warwick last month. Patavium drops back in distance having scored at Catterick recently with Worth A King's well behind and Manshoor isn't out of this as he's had an outing on the Flat since winning a handicap hurdle at Lingfield in November.
