A C&D winner of a novice event in December, Accordintolawrence has yet to run well in a handicap over fences, while Rich Lord has failed to complete in a couple of starts since his placed efforts at Hexham. GENTLEMAN JEFF went close when runner-up in a handicap at Catterick last time, however, with a subsequent winner well back in third and Chris Grant's charge gets the nod to go one better. Karingreason scored at Catterick in December but flopped back at the same track last time, while Unwanted Gift could prove best of the remainder judged on last month's improved efforts.
