Verdict

Not a lot to go on for the Novice Handicap Chase but the market will probably give the best clues as to the winner. The TEAMtalk selection is Supreme Lad. Mick Easterby has clearly had problems with this likely staying type but his string are just beginning to fire and any wins that this Supreme Leader gelding posted over hurdles were probably bonuses. Imago II was another not to sparkle last season but is probably easier to fancy than exposed Irish hurdler, All the Colours. Misty Ridge does at least have the benefit of a win here earlier in the season but that was a very moderate affair and he will need to brush up on his fencing. Trusting Tom and Sabi Sand look difficult to fancy.
