Verdict
Oscar Nomination has never won in eight starts between the flags and has been well beaten over hurdles but KATEBIRD, four times a winner on the Flat, gave notice of an imminent victory over timber with a close third at Leicester in January, form that should be good enough for this. Georgian Firebird has been racing over much shorter but stays the trip and would have a chance on her two runs at Uttoxeter in December. Darsi's Jewel was well beaten in a Catterick seller a couple of weeks ago while Ormskirk, a winner in Jersey in August, has shown nothing in his last half-dozen starts.
