In depth

Verdict

Grozni was second at Ayr before finishing fourth at Fairyhouse and Denis Hogan would not have sent him across the Irish Sea unless he fancied his chances. But there are several interesting newcomers in this including the €155,000 Authorized gelding Authorised Speed, who is a half-brother to three winners. Guerlain Bellevue is from a yard that’s had a few bumper winners lately with San Roch and Huntsman's Call also interesting. THUNDER SURF is Flat bred and may have more pace than some of these so gets a tentative vote given his stable is more than capable of getting one ready at home.
