In depth

Verdict

Estepona Sun and Son Of Hypnos had a battle for the places behind easy winner Farout at Cork and may be in the same position here as the winner's stable is represented by TAX FOR MAX. A winner on the Flat in Germany, he finished runner-up in a Fairyhouse Grade 3 on his hurdling debut before a fair run in the Triumph Hurdle. Makfils also ran in that Cork event and the French Flat winner can surely do better than he showed there. San Pedro, a two-year-old winner on heavy ground for Aidan O'Brien, made a very encouraging debut over timber at Killarney and is certain to improve while Whatsavailable is one to keep an eye on for the future.
