In depth

Verdict

Dark Voyager, a winner on the Flat at Galway in August, has disappointed in two runs over timber after a fine start behind Zanahiyr at Ballinrobe. He's carrying his penalty here as is Easca Peasca, an easy winner on the level at Fairyhouse, who ran his best race so far over hurdles behind Don Diablo at Down Royal earlier this month. FRATERNITY will be receiving 7lb from the pair of them and Tony Mullins' charge can make it count having had a run on the Flat since a very good second over timber at Cork. Knight Of Malta has failed to build on a very good second at Gowran in March, though still has plenty of time, while Raamez is on the upgrade.
