In depth
Verdict
Angus Glens had an alternative engagement yesterday at Southwell but would have claims if turning up here instead. Harristown didn't show much reverting to hurdles here at the start of the month while Wintered Well is looking high enough in the weights now. But Panis Angelicus will strip fitter for his run on heavy going at Chepstow and the quicker ground will suit. MONKHOUSE was only fourth when joint favourite at Kempton last time but that was only his third start over timber. He'd shown promise in his first two and looks as though he'll stay the longer trip so gets the nod.
