Verdict

SIMPLE GLORY is given the vote to land her hat-trick ahead of in-form horses Baren de Doc and Levitski. The selection has landed back-to-back victories at Aintree this summer. She has risen 13lbs in the weights as a consequence but comes into this race full of confidence. Mares normally do well with a bit of sunshine on their backs and if recapturing her recent form she will not be far away come the business end of the race. Trainer Tim Vaughan has been flying high this summer and Baren de Doc added to his winning tally at Uttoxeter last time out. He is only 3lbs higher in the ratings since that win so has to be respected and added to the short-list. Levitski has been called a number of things in the past but on his day he is more than capable of putting in a solid performance. He has however been beaten in a couple of selling races of late and will have to raise his game if he is to trouble the judge. Simple Glory has hit a purple patch and is given the vote to land her hat-trick.
