In depth

Verdict

A fast pace can be taken for granted in this with several confirmed front-runners facing the starter. Fanzio jumped well and made all at Uttoxeter but runner-up Before Midnight is 4lb better off for three lengths. Vinnie The Hoddie also led from start to finish at Uttoxeter last time but his suspect jumping will be fully put to the test here. Bandsman also likes to be prominent and stays further but Buster Thomas will be content to sit from off the pace and is eased in grade. Luckofthedraw is only a pound higher than when landing this 12 months ago and goes well fresh and Mr Caffrey could stay on into a place but NEVERBEEN TO PARIS (NAP) quickened away from Thursday’s Perth winner Cage Of Fear over track and trip on only his second run over fences. Cheekpieces are added today and Harry Whittington’s five-year-old looks one to follow.
