Mr Shambles is a tentative suggestion ahead of Onefourfun and Karathaena. Our selection does have to reverse form with the aforementioned Karathaena but its worth noting that this recent meeting took place on much softer going than will be anticipated here and if Mr Shambles can get a soft lead, he might just be able to override his decidedly dodgy hurdling technique. All credit though to Karathaena as she did it nicely on the day, taking full advantage of a helpful handicap mark. Onefourfun has future chaser written all over him. A course-and-distance winner, he has to be given due respect in what is a fairly ordinary affair. Keen Warrior has to bounce back from a disappointing run at Leicester earlier in the month. Of the remainder, Saint Godegrand does not win often but his stable are sending out winners at present. Proven selling plater, Mujamead and Musselburgh winner, Bright Sparky are both watched closely in the market. Plenty of plausible winners of this prize and Mr Shambles is put forward to minimum stakes.
