Verdict

BORIC won twice last season and has run three cracking races in defeat this term. Second over this trip at Sedgefield, he’s been eased a pound since his fourth in the Rehearsal Chase at Newcastle and can take advantage of the drop in grade. Fontwell second Cyclop stays well but doesn’t win very often. Jepeck could be interesting near the foot of the handicap but Strongly Suggested may struggle to stay this far. Two Smokin Barrels will also have his stamina to prove but Amiral Collonges was second in this last year and better off with Vinegar Hill than when beaten four lengths over 3m here last month. Amberjam is also engaged at Huntingdon.
