Verdict
Generous Day is well treated but weakened quickly once headed at Southwell. Tokay Dokey was never getting to Brave Seasca at Warwick but the winner followed up at Ascot and Dan Skelton’s charge should be approaching peak fitness now. FABRIQUE EN FRANCE was making his chasing bow when second at Chepstow and normal progress should see him go close in this dropped a pound. First Angel has been knocking on the door over hurdles but his jumping needs to improve for the switch to fences.
