In depth

Verdict

Never Up has completed a double at Southwell, the latest when beating two rivals for a facile success. He's up just 4lb here though it's a slightly better race and may have to give best to ARDMAYLE, another on a hat-trick after easy victories at Leicester and Lingfield. Ali Stronge's charge has gone up 9lb for his latest victory but looks the type to go on to better things. Winning point-to-pointer Stage One has improved in three runs over hurdles and should be more at home over the bigger obstacles so rates a threat but Movie Legend jumped poorly here last time and is best watched.
