In depth
Verdict
Arabic History was very green on debut at Newton Abbot but stayed on strongly on the final circuit and eventually won by 11 lengths. He is well bred and can only improve and looks to have more scope than the frustrating Major Ivan. Royal Craftsman was third at Stratford earlier this month but that looked a modest contest and he probably has more on his plate here. MIDNIGHT SHOT is by leading NH sire Midnight Legend and a half-brother to a dual Flat winner. He has the perfect pedigree for bumpers and can make a winning debut with fellow newcomer Liro probably the pick of the remainder.
