In depth

Verdict

Fearachain was racing on good ground for the first time when comfortably landing a Listowel bumper a couple of weeks ago and looks a nice recruit to hurdling. Rocky Court had shown very little before runner-up to the odds-on Dandridge at Galway and appears to be progressing but TOM'S ARTICLE looks the one to beat. Gordon Elliott's charge, who won a bumper in July, put a poor hurdling debut behind him with a cracking run behind Tandem here then chased home Egyptian Warrior at Listowel, form that should be good enough for this. The four-year-old Little Haarth was the surprise winner of a bumper on this track three weeks ago while Grandma Dotty won on the Flat last month though has failed to finish in both starts over timber.
