In depth

Verdict

Theatre Mill scored over fences in April and this is where his future lies though he's performed with credit in his last two starts over timber against decent opposition. He will need to improve here as will Blue Cannon, who made a successful debut over the bigger obstacles but then ran poorly on his next three starts. He's likely to do better in time though this looks between DARWINS FOX and Nearly Nama'd. The former has been hurdling with a close second to Simenon in a Tipperary Grade 3 the highlight but he's also won a novice chase at that level which is why he's carrying a penalty. He looks to have just too much quality for Dessie Hughes' charge, a debut winner over fences at Kilbeggan in May and subsequently going well in strong handicaps.
