Verdict

Sycho Fred won over 2m7f here last month before pulling up over a shorter trip at the track next time when Irish Guard finished tailed off. He could easily bounce back today but Emperor Concerto may find it more difficult to recover from a poor effort at Haydock and Sir Tamburlane disappointed when favourite for a lesser event at Hexham last time. Ukrainian Star rattled up a hat-trick in December and January but reappears after a break on a career-high mark so we'll take MUMBLES HEAD to build on a recent improved second at Ffos Las. He had some decent form last season and is on a very fair mark nowadays.
