Verdict

Liscahill Karella finally got off the mark at Bangor last week but he'll do well to defy a 16lb higher mark here. Around A Pound could only muster the one pace when third at Towcester on Tuesday and is still a maiden, as are last month's Newcastle third Stuff Of Dreams and the four-year-old Ocean Bluff. Worth A King's has won a couple of novice events, however, and there has been a bit of promise in his last three starts but the one to beat may be STICK TOGETHER. Malcolm Jefferson's mare is now only a pound higher than her last win, over today's C&D, and she's been running well enough lately to suggest another success is just around the corner.
