    Verdict

REEM can take this for the fillies. Mike De Kock's UAE 1000 Guineas runner-up occupied the same spot behind stablemate River Jetez in the Grade 2 Balanchine, form that looks stronger than that of the colts' classic in which the lightly-raced Bridgefield came out on top over several of these and should uphold the form as he is progressive. The two South Americans, Energia Carioca and Paulinho, have disappointed so far here while Ahlaain has yet to prove he stays this trip though he was staying on over a mile here last time after missing the break. Dave Simcock's colt looks the main threat though Borug will have come on for his opening run a month ago and has a Polytrack success to his credit.
