        Verdict

        Soviet Rock was rated 98 when trained by Andrew Balding and won four races. He was well beaten on his debut here in February but better is expected. His stable also run Respect Me, who sprung a surprise when scoring at the last meeting from today's rival Aslan. The winner had been well beaten behind Jeeraan here in February and Dane O'Neill's mount can do much better than he showed on his reappearance a month ago when a long way behind stablemate ETIJAAH (NAP), who was always travelling well and scored comfortably. He's been raised 8lb which makes things more difficult and Torchlighter, who finished third, can get closer but fourth-placed Zain Eagle looks held. Madeed had some decent form for Brian Meehan and will be better for her run at Abu Dhabi as will the former Irish-based Maid Of The Glens, a regular in Group and Listed company.
