        Verdict

        Golden Shaheen showed his liking for a fast dirt track when landing a handicap at Jebel Ali last week and is versatile enough to have won on Polytrack and turf. Kaiss won on his reappearance at Chantilly last May so a long absence may not prove a problem though this is a new surface to him. QAMAR, a winner over 1m1f at Wolverhampton for Godolphin in September, beat a similar field to this in good style over the C&D a month ago before another good run at Jebel Ali. The son of Pivotal looks on the upgrade and this looks within his capabilities. Dr Smart ran a very good race behind the in-form Zaheen Speed but that was over a mile and he may not quite match the pace of the selection over this trip.
