      Verdict

      Richie Mullen was on board for both of Commanding's victories at the turn of the year and his excellent fourth in the Listed Al Bastakiya. However, he's switched to stablemate LAKE CAUSEWAY here and his mount, a close fourth in the UAE 2000 Guineas, can take advantage of the 7lb weight concession. Rio Angie scored first time out at this meeting a year ago and ran well in much better company later so has to be a major threat for Doug Watson. Al Modayar is very closely matched with Commanding in two runs last term so is another to be considered.
