        Verdict

        Four runners for Doug Watson here. TRADESMAN began and ended last season in winning form, with Brett Doyle on board for the final victory, and can make a successful reappearance. Illusional started favourite for the latter event on the back of an excellent victory on his reappearance but ran poorly, which wasn't his form. He could easily bounce back while stable companion Tried And True won at the meeting a year ago and raced in better company later, Secret Trade, who was beaten two lengths by Illusional, will be 5lb better off. Firnas is capable of winning again but has done better over further.
