        Verdict

        It's interesting that the well-bred Baalbek has been kept in training though it's over a year since he last ran. Benmalek looks to be improving and had stable companion LAKE CAUSEWAY close behind when runner-up over the track and trip last week. Tadhg O'Shea keeps faith with the latter, who had been running well previously, and his mount can lose his maiden tag at the 14th attempt. Vedeno was staying on over 6f at Jebel Ali last week but Panoshoshic did better when dropped back to 7f a fortnight ago.
