Ramonti Flash is making his handicap debut and, as the only three-year-old in the line-up and a course and distance winner on his last start in March, he could be good enough to make a successful reappearance. However, BUSKER made great strides at last year's carnival and won his final two races in such impressive fashion that he can defy a leap in the ratings and take this. Kaiss has always looked better over 7f on this surface but the ex-Irish Alnashmy won a handicap over the track and trip in February and looks a threat. Jawhar is better over a longer trip but has enough pace to get involved and would go close if fit enough after a break.
