In depth

Verdict

Nine runners here, all owned by the Maktoum family. Thankfully they are with different trainers and Mike De Kock has the top two in the weights. King Of Rome hasn't recaptured his form but Hunting Tower is gradually getting his act together though he's had no success to date on the all-weather. Once More Dubai looks to have found his level after fruitless attempts in pattern-race company. His recent narrow defeat by Simon De Montfort was his best run for a very long time and he'll take some beating in that kind of form. Jedi, Heliodor and Monte Alto were a long way behind that day and it's unlikely they can turn the tables. LOST IN THE MOMENT is progressing fast and is versatile as to surfaces. He was having his first start since scoring at Newbury in October when beating Prizefighting over the C&D a fortnight ago and there looks to be more to come.
