        Verdict

        Godolphin have four entries. FALLING SHADOW did best of several of these who ran in a similar race a fortnight ago when beaten two lengths into third. Zaman was a close fourth after coming wide into the straight with Blue Trail just behind. Felix, who was last turning for home, ran better than finishing position suggests while Maydanny set a slow gallop on the soft ground and weakened quickly as did Brilliant Light and Magical Morning. The front-running New Comedy found 1m6f stretching his stamina last time and was in the lead at this trip when beaten a length over 1m4f on his previous start so should make a bold bid.
