In depth
Verdict
Argentine Grade 1 winner Paulinho is the top-rated here but hasn't shown much dash on his two latest runs on Tapeta though both were over longer trips. Abjer, who was a long way behind him in a Listed contest over 1m2f last time, is much better than that as he showed when landing a Group 3 over a mile at Ascot in October. Electric Waves won four times over 5f last summer so what she was doing racing over 1m2f on Tapeta last month is anyone's guess. She ran quite well to finish third and this should be more to her liking and she holds Empire Rose and Abtasaamah on that form. Lord Of The Stars had Krypton Factor almost three lengths in second when scoring over the C&D early last month and found a mile just beyond him on his only subsequent start. He looks a threat but this can go to CHOCOLICIOUS, who hasn't been far behind the high-class pair Reem and Mahbooba on her two starts here on Tapeta and was a Grade 1 winner on turf in South Africa.
