        Verdict

        Superstition was Listed class in France but stayed on over 1m6f on her debut here and probably needs further. Wonder Lawn finally came good a couple of weeks ago beating Yirga in good style but the latter has been well beaten subsequently and the form may not amount to much. Steele Tango was conceding ENAK 3lb when beating him a short-head over 1m1f in January and has run well in Grade 2 company since. He should go close again but Frankie Dettori's mount is better over this slightly longer trip and, as he should also have no problems reversing last month's defeat by stablemate Psychic Ability on 4lb better terms, he gets the vote to gain his first Carnival victory.
