Verdict
LION SANDS was conceding 1lb to Dr Faustus when beaten 4l over the C&D in March so must have a decent chance of reversing the form on these terms. Mulaqat was once very useful but was ending a long barren spell when scoring on the Dirt at Jebel Ali in March. He's mainly competed in better class than this and would prove a threat if fit enough. He had Rochdale just behind in that race on Dirt but the latter is much better around here as he showed with two victories over the C&D at this time last year. Monte Alto goes well on turf at Abu Dhabi but has never won in 16 starts on an all-weather surface and Highland Glen has been very disappointing after making a winning debut here in February last year.
