      Verdict

      Godolphin have had a stranglehold on this but it's difficult to see how either of their their two representatives can stop POLAR RIVER. Doug Watson's filly showed blinding pace to land the trial over 7f and though runner-up Promising Run will be 5lb better off the Rockfel winner appears highly unlikely to reverse the form. Kabaw and Dolly Dagger are well held and Wolverhampton maiden winner Dubai Fashion was well beaten in a Listed contest at Newmarket and may have to settle for a place at best.
