It's a measure of just how far BRABBHAM has progressed in that he beat Sky Jockey just over a length in January receiving 1lb and now has to concede that rival 13lb. He completed a hat-trick a couple of weeks ago with a comfortable victory over the in-form Active Spirit and though he'll never live up to his $1.2m price tag he's on the right track. His stable companion Ormindo is a consistent performer but had no answer when Padlock quickened past him at Jebel Ali last month but Nathr has to be respected. Doug Watson's charge was just over two lengths behind the selection in January and is 12lb better off though his latest second to Active Spirit, with Life And Times behind, gives him a bit to find though the latter should get closer as that was his first start since 2014.
