        Verdict

        Al Khaldie made a belated racecourse debut over 6f at Jebel Ali where he got on top inside the final furlong and powered away. This is a big step up in trip but he's bred for the job. Light Beam won over track and trip in March and carried a big weight when beaten less than a length last week so has to be on the shortlist but Poster Paint ran poorly last week after a much better run a couple of weeks earlier. Stormy Ocean won at Newcastle for Godolphin and has joined the Crisfords while Boston George may prove best of Doug Watson's pair.
