HEAVY METAL will take some beating here. Three times a winner over the track and trip last year, he returned with a Listed race success before landing a Group 2 then found the extended 1m1f trip too much last week at that same level. This represents a big drop in grade though Brave Zolo is also dropping down after running in a Group 2 on Turf earlier this month. He had a fine all-weather record in the UK though has never raced on Dirt. Fantastic Four had some smart form in Argentina before landing a Group 3 on Dirt in Saudi Arabia last month though faces much tougher opposition here. Cosmo Charlie, a Listed winner here a year ago when Nobelium was beaten 6l, hasn't regained his form and has finished a long way behind the selection the last twice while Richard Pankhurst, a regular winner for John Gosden, has been well beaten on Turf in his two runs here.
