In depth

Verdict

David Marnane is making a name for himself in Ireland and had a winner here last week in Dandy Boy. Separate Ways is reported in the same kind of form as like week's winner and had enough good form in the locker last season to be considered for this. Kingsfort is a class-act as he showed when landing a Listed contest at Newmarket in October but faces a stiff task from a poor draw and Godolphin may do better with the tough USA import Florentino, who is usually ready to roll after a break. Derbaas has some excellent recent form on Tapeta and there's no reason why he shouldn't transfer that to turf but once again it looks as though Mike De Kock holds an ace in the pack with HERE TO WIN, who landed a Grade 1 at Greyville in July and looks to have got in here lightly.
