DOON KALAL, a dual winner for Marcus Tregoning last year, reappeared after a very long break to score over a mile here last month and, with the longer trip no problem, he can continue his winning streak before going on to better things. Bawadi had Florentine Ruler a short-head behind when runner-up at Sharjah but that form doesn't look quite good enough and Lando Junior may be more of a threat despite his big weight as he would have needed his recent run after a break and has won over the C&D. The ex-French Rehearsal Dinner is interesting on his handicap debut as he's performed with credit on Deauville's Fibresand this year.
