Verdict
JOLIE CRICKETTE, three times a winner over fences in France, pulled up on her opening run for Nick Alexander at Haydock but showed her true colours with a victory in a small field at Kelso. She makes her handicap debut over timber under a big weight though there looks plenty more to come. Miss Barbossa ran her best race to date when runner-up to Pulpitarian, who runs earlier, here in January but was tackling a much longer trip. My Little Cracker completed a double at this time a year ago but has been in poor form this winter, a remark that also applies to Alizee De Janeiro. Katie's Hen has been running poorly since landing a novices' event last summer.
