        Verdict

        CLEAR THE RUNWAY (NAP) has a 7lb penalty for making a successful chasing debut over the course and distance 10 days ago but had plenty in hand and looks capable of winning from a higher mark. Runner-up Monsieur Co should get closer under the revised terms but appears unlikely to turn the tables. Idilico won over hurdles at the same fixture though had shown nothing in two previous starts over fences. Izzy’s Champion gained the second of his two course victories in November but didn’t improve in subsequent starts while Mymilan was engaged in the 2.05 at Catterick yesterday.
