Verdict
Cavalieri has obvious claims having won at Catterick last week but today's softer going is a worry. La Bacouetteuse is another to consider as he won this in 2012 and has scored off higher marks than today subsequently. Schmooze can make the frame on his reappearance, but Choisan will need to step up on his latest fourth in an amateurs' race to figure. MEDIEVAL BISHOP was well beaten on his return to action but is only 3lb higher than when landing a double last season and Mark Walford's charge gets a tentative vote to come good again in this.
