In depth

Verdict

Plenty with claims in this finale. Global Leader carries 12lb extra after landing a double at Wolverhampton last month but he's lightly-raced and may not have finished winning yet. Echo Of Lightning made all over a mile here last time but his 6lb extra gives the runner-up Mowhoob a chance of turning the tables. ALLURING STAR took an apprentices' race at Catterick last week and Mick Easterby's mare may just have the edge today given she's a winner without a penalty.
