Verdict
PETITE GANACHE won over hurdles here last January and over fences a year later when conceding the runner-up 23lb. He's only up 3lb so looks the one to beat. Not The Chablis gained his only victory over hurdles here and has had all three starts over fences on the track. He looked as though this longer trip would suit when runner-up last time and gets plenty of weight from the selection. Crystal Lad won twice over hurdles for Gary Moore though hasn't shown much over fences but Lord Condi won a handicap chase at Southwell last summer and has been confined to hurdles in his last three runs.
