Verdict
Piccolomini, Consider This and Port d'Argent are three to consider here and the vote is given to Consider This. The selection ran well when third behind Russian Revolution at Ayr last time and she proved that day that she can handle these conditions. She is beginning to look a little exposed but may be up to winning a race of this nature. Piccolomini rates the main danger but this colt from the Mark Johnston yard may be worth taking on here. His yard have done much better this season with first-time-out 2-year-old's, but if he shows any signs of greenness here then he could be be found out, and at the likely odds he is probably worth opposing on his debut. Similar comments would apply to Port D'Argent, and the suspicion is that she may be slightly better over further in time, so again she may be best watched on her debut. Of the remainder, Woolsack made a pleasing debut at Doncaster when fifth behind Tasdeed, so he is another worth considering, but for the winner we return to Consider This.
