Verdict
Shape Up, Ego Trip and Minivet are shortlisted in this wide-open handicap and the vote is given to Ego Trip. The selection is in great heart at present and won in good style to defeat Snow's Ride at Catterick last time. He will relish these conditions and looks the one they all have to beat. Shape Up was all-out to win at Chester last time, and although he is chasing a hat-trick here he may just need the run on his first racecourse appearance since June. Minivet has been in good form since joining Dick Allen and he returns to the flat after a spell over hurdles. He is always dangerous in these type of events and it would be no surprise to see him make the frame. Colway Ritz and Altay would also have chances on the pick of their form, but we will stick with Ego Trip as our idea of the winner.
