      Verdict

      Impulsive American has shown his well-being this spring with consecutive victories over hurdles, but ALDRETH could be the one to beat here. He encountered traffic problems at Ripon last time and back on his favoured fast ground he can score off his current mark. The lightly-raced former Donald McCain inmate Frederic could be a danger and is capable of making the frame.
