Verdict
Senor Bond looks the pick of a very poor bunch Mehmaas and Acca Larentia could be the main rivals. Bryan Smart's four-year-old drops into this company for the first time having shown plenty of ability in competitive handicaps. He was well beaten in a claimer her last time but didn't appear to stay the extra furlong. Back over a mile he could prove hard to beat. Mehmaas has a bit to find with the selection on official ratings but did run well in a similar race to this at Hamilton recently. Meanwhile Acca Larentia has shown bits and pieces of form to give her each-way claims. The rest make little appeal on what they have shown this season and so Senor Bond shouldn't have too much trouble in landing first prize.
