Verdict

Carte Diamond gets the confident vote with Credit and Quarry Island rating the main dangers. The selection was impressive on his debut and although slightly disappointing last time out when third behind Salut Saint Cloud - he will appreciate this faster ground and with Tony McCoy in the plate he is impossible to oppose. Credit rates the main danger as he was a fair sort on the flat having won over 10 furlongs. He is from a yard in top form but he may come on for the experience. Quarry Island is another worthy of respect. But he has had plenty of chances without taking one and for that reason he is opposed. The remainder have shown very little and are readily opposed and for the winner we return to Carte Diamond.
