      Verdict

      It isn't often you'll see runners representing the likes Nicky Henderson and David Pipe in a moderate bumper at any of the northern tracks so it would be no surprise if The Tracey Shuffle and DARK SHADOW were to dominate this. The former pulled too hard on his debut at Kempton before Christmas and could go close if settling better here, but the latter's breeding suggests he'll go on to much better things than this in the future and he can make a winning start today. Serenader was third over 1m6f at Carlisle in October and should stay the extra on this easier course, while Think Green showed promise when fifth over C&D last month but the others are likely to struggle again.
