Verdict

The penultimate race on the Musselburgh card looks to be at the mercy of High Office, Nisaal and the Mark Johnston newcomer BAY WILLOW, with the vote going to the last mentioned. Johnston's horse is quite well bred being a son of Singspiel and holds an entry in the big three year old race at Newmarket later on in the year. Hopefully this is not a speculative entry and he won't have to be anything out of the ordinary to take this event. Richard Fahey's High Office sets a reasonable standard but must surrender 17 pounds to the selection. He has been turned over on a number of occasions and again will not represent any value. John Quinn's Nisall also has average form but he too is giving weight away to the selection. A horse at bigger odds that might go well is Inlovingmemory. On ratings she hasn't a whole lot to find with the Fahey horse but with only 7 runners she will do well to run into a place. Bay Willow should be good enough to take this event even on debut.
